Cost per litre X 4.5454 = Cost per gallon
Cost per gallon / mpg = cost per mile
Don’t forget to double it to allow for the return journey if appropriate.

If you’re subbing out enough work for it to make a difference to you whether your subbies are VAT registered or not how can your turnover possibly be under the VAT registration threshold anyway?
It never fails to amaze me the number of people on here who I KNOW are operating more than one vehicle & driver, yet there’s no VAT on the invoice when it arrives. How can you possibly run more than one vehicle and turn over less than £1300 per week? Even if your turnover is that low WHY would you want to pay two lots of running costs without claiming back the VAT?
Something I prepared last time this question came up: Should I be VAT Registered?

Do they still have the GVW of the vehicle on them?
And while I’m on the subject, if anyone’s got a recent V5 for a Berlingo/Combo etc sized van, are they described as ‘car derived van’ or ‘panel van’ or something else?

One week’s statutory notice or whatever it says in the written statement of employment particulars that you made available to him within two months of him starting working for you.

If that price is for 0800 numbers then it’s an unsustainable business plan – so eventually they will cease to exist and you may lose continuity on your number.
If someone was to offer to do £100 worth of work every month for you for life for an up front fee would you accept the offer?

Microsoft Office Accounting Express
I’ve not used but I’ve had a good look at it and it seems to cover the basics quite nicely.
