You can’t leave the payment terms blank when sending a confirmation through the courier ’Network’. Do the payment terms actually come up on the text message then?

I didn’t think the price was sent out on the text message either. Is it?
Legally they’re due to pay on your terms unless you’ve agreed otherwise – you can’t have agreed to something that you hadn’t been made aware of and they had the opportunity to change the terms on the alert from 30 days to something else if they’d have wanted to. If you wanted to charge them a late payment fee then you’d win in court – if you could be bothered with that. Having said that, it sounds more like a misunderstanding than them deliberately trying to have you over.
