    I think that 3G data rates have been a bit higher than that for a few years now Ma**, but even at those speeds it’s 2-4 times faster than a reasonable landline dial-up connection and faster than my original NTL broadband cable service.

    Three & T-mobile have just announced that they’re merging their 3G networks and moving the equipment from duplicated sites into coverage blackspots so things can only improve in the next year or so.
