‘Network’ invoices are as good as, or better than, any other invoice you can produce.

Whatever you do don’t raise a ‘Network’ invoice as well as your own – it just makes extra work for everyone.

You do need to worry. Raising two VAT invoices introduces a double liability for VAT. Hopefully though most people that are likely to make that sort of mistake account for their VAT on a cash-based scheme so it makes no difference to them.

Companies who operate an accrual scheme will be able to account for the input tax twice and understate their VAT liability if they receive multiple invoices for the same supply bearing different invoice numbers.

Al***. Is there some reason why OUR Registered Office details are appearing on the bottom of all our suppliers’ ‘Network’ generated invoices?
