Quite agree with you Ray – go in fast and hard on every occasion. If everyone did it there’d be no late payers because it would cost more to pay late than to pay on time.
One thing though: 30 days net DOES NOT mean “30 days from end of month of invoice”, no matter how many people try and convince you that it does. 30 days net means “we expect to receive payment within 30 days of the invoice date”. The financial penalty can be immediate if your customer fails to pay by the due date.

They don’t need a ban Garry, they just need their payment history and their suppliers’ opinions of them available for all to see.
